Renowned Jain Monk Acharya Vidyasagar Maharaj Passes Away at 77

Acharya Vidyasagar Maharaj, a revered Jain monk and spiritual leader, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2024, at the age of 77. He was at Chandragiri Teerth in Chhattisgarh's Rajnandgaon district, observing the Jain religious practice of "sallekhna," which involves voluntary fasting until death for spiritual purification.
